Raised in Omaha Nebraska, I first realized my love for fashion taking an Intro to Sewing class in high school. Since then, I was sold. I did everything I could to continue my craft, which eventually brought me to the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. While juggling a full class load, part time jobs, and internships, I received my Associates Degree in Fashion Design in May of 2017. Along with improvements regarding my taste and design level, I also learned how to manage my time and pay attention to the details. Since June of 2017, I have worked as an Assistant Designer at a private label. For me, this job turned my dreams into reality. At this job I have learned all the ins and outs of the industry, as well as structuring my understanding of product development from start to finish. I plan to continue my education in the evening wear concentration at the Bachelor's program at FIT. I am so thankful and proud of how far I have come, and cannot wait to pursue my devotion to art and design into a long-lasting career.
